Every client of mine is taught and encouraged to practice Mindfulness on a daily basis.
If Mindfulness was out of the picture, it is my belief that we would not achieve the optimum quality of life we are capable of achieving.
Mindfulness grants us awareness, a time for reflection and a time to simply EXIST.
For beginners, mindfulness is most effectively practiced in solitude or as part of a guided activity. This could include but is not limited to: Daily walks, devotionals, coloring, yoga, wellness coaching, therapy, prompted breathing patterns, body scans, meditation, prayer etc.
The ultimate goal is to make mindfulness habitual.
At first, offering solitude minimizes distraction. With time and practice individuals will strengthen their ability to become stronger in personal practice and can choose to be mindful anywhere at any given time. -How cool is that?
Whether you practice mindfulness currently or find yourself currently thinking “what the heck is she talking about”…
