Meet Tashana, who lives POTS Strong.
“I reached out to Kait a while back when I was first diagnosed with POTS and talking to her really gave me hope. I had been online and in POTS groups and they were very discouraging to say the least. Kait always had a positive attitude and it was such a relief to hear that life can be great with POTS!
So when she told me she was doing POTS Support Programming I was instantly motivated and excited. My experience was probably a little different from most people doing the program as I was very very pregnant.! Lol But Kait made some adjustments for me and it was great. Honestly just reading and getting specific details about POTS and learning the POTS Strong Method to better manage was such a help.
I think the best thing was the daily check ins. It made me want to do better so I could have good things to report at the end of the day. I learned some good exercises and stretches and I now make sure to meditate for at least 10 mins a day! I find this helps with my anxiety as well as POTS!
The biggest thing I learned is that my eating habits were awful lol. The nutrition part of this seriously motivated me so much. I’ve made so many small changes in such a short amount of time and my body feels so good for it. Even after just having a baby. I have energy to do what I need to do and it’s only going to get better.!
I would definitely recommend this program to someone who needs help managing POTS. It really made me so much more aware of what I give my body to combat POTS. I will definitely continue the POTS Strong Method. As soon as I am cleared to exercise I cannot wait to get into it even more. Having Kait as a coach was so amazing. I am truly thankful for her help. Any time I had any concerns or questions she personally would talk me through it or give me suggestions. She was not judgmental at all and just really motivating while also letting me kind of adjust at my own speed!
This program was just a start for me with being POTS Strong! Thank you Kait.!

With fluids and making sure to salt and drink with Powerade and electrolytes I was up and walking around with my baby!” March 22, 2021
Coach Kait’s Take-
“Coaching Tashana was such a rewarding experience.
Tashana always brought a relaxed yet real feel to our conversations. I don’t think we ended a phone call without laughter … :-)
The biggest takeaway Tashana had was that she was believed. At times she may have had an off day or couple of days, but after a quick check-in and a few exchanges on Facebook messenger I had confidence she felt validated and left our conversation with valued information.
Tashana was an A+ student! Even while pregnant she never missed a lesson; I enjoyed reading her weekly summaries.
The most memorable discussion we had was her intent to always take the stairs. I recall a specific time she dressed too warmly while playing in the snow with her oldest daughter; she started to have a flare but didn’t panic. She got inside; “de-layered” and laid down until it passed. I was proud of her for recognizing it for what it was (and downing a whole lot of water!).
Tashana has a good relationship with her body and the ability to recognize flares for what they are; holding a pro-active mindset into how to combat and adjust appropriately. …Overall a true joy it has been to connect and to this day stay connected. I look forward to witnessing ALLL the things in store for Tashana!”
